Marisa received her MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the 2014 recipient of the Thesis Fellowship from the VCU Graduate School for her thesis project, Remembering Imogene Coca, including an original musical, Not Afraid To Be Ugly, which is on it's way to workshops. She is excited to be back at VCU as lead instructor for Winning Presentations, an applied theatre course developed for the Business and Engineering Schools. Credits include; Off-Broadway: Tony 'N Tina's Wedding, National Tour: Ferdinand The Bull, Regional: Hairspray, 1940s Radio Hour, Hooray for Hollywood, Working, Reckless.
